Turn the power on. The printer should display a solid light at the front.
If necessary, load the printer with a suitable receipt roll.
If any of the front lights are flashing, you have an error. Please refer to the Star Micronics LED error codes to troubleshoot.
Now, take the iPad that you wish to use with the Printer.
Connect the iPad to the printer using the official USB Lightning cable provided with the iPad. The USB port is located on the back of the Printer.
Once the printer is connected, launch the AccentPOS application.
Sign in to the application.
Tap on Billing.
Tap on Print.
Tap on Unselected State (first option on the list).
Tap on All.
Your printer should appear in the list.
Tap on the Printer.
You will be asked a question, for example, “Is your Printer TSP100?”.
Select the receipt Size (3" for TSP100 models, 4" for most other models including the MC-Print3).
Select Cash Drawer "High when open" if necessary.
Tap Back in the top left corner.
