To refund a payment from the Cash-out screen:

  • Locate the order you want to refund

  • Tap the order and tap 'Refund'

  • Tap the payment you would like to refund

  • The refund is processed and the order total and tax amounts are updated accordingly

  • If you are using integrated payments, the refund will appear on the card machine for processing with the customer's card

  • Go home and back into Cash-out to see the updated transaction

The refund option will not appear if no payments have been made on the order, or if all the payments on the order have already been refunded
